SERVICE SCHEDULE
What to Expect
Visitors to Quaker Gap often comment on the friendly, family-like atmosphere that characterizes our gatherings. We are generationally diverse in our makeup and informal in our dress. Our worship is as diverse as our many backgrounds, seeking to reflect who we are as a congregation. Employing traditional hymns, southern gospel tunes, bluegrass, contemporary praise music, and even a little Bach now and again, our music is selected not for its style, but for its ability to enhance our morning worship. We may sing from the hymnal or use the three projector screens for choruses, but the love of music is always evident in our worship.
Our pastor has the heart of a teacher. In Jack’s messages, you will find Biblical depth and practical application. Additionally, since creativity is one of our core values, worship at Quaker Gap may also include drama, visual arts, videos, or other creative means for God’s people to respond to God’s Word. Ultimately, we exist as a church to “glorify God by growing Christlike people.” |
